Manage your routines
From the Parent section, select the "Routines" tab, located in the center of the top menu to access the routines manager.
Create a Routine
1. Tap the "+" button in the lower right corner to create a new routine.
2. Select a template to quickly create your routine. You will be able to customize the routine as needed with no problem.
3. The template ensures that you don't start with a blank page!
You can change the routine information here:
- The title
- The routine reminder notification to the child
- Days of the week the routine is to be performed
- The start and end time of the routin
- The children for whom the routine is intended
- The tasks
Edit Routine Tasks
You can modify the tasks in the routine, reorder them, delete them or add new ones.
1. Press a task to display the options for Edit or Delete.
2. Pressing Delete removes that task from the routine.
3. By pressing Edit, you can select a new icon and text for the task.
When editing a task, start by selecting the icon. You will be presented with a text. You can change it by pressing the field. You can add an alert to the child for the tasks if desired.
4. Press and hold the 3 lines to move the tasks. This allows you to change the order of the tasks.
5. Press the "+" button at the end of the task list to add a new task. You can then move it to the desired location in the routine by reordering it as shown in step 4.
Modify an existing routine
From the Routine Manager, tap on an existing routine to display the options.
Selecting Edit will open the routine editor. Here you will be able to edit all the routine information:
- The title
- The routine reminder notification to the child
- The days of the week the routine is to be performed
- The start and end time of the routine
- The children for whom the routine is intended
- The tasks
Duplicate a routine
From the routine manager, press on an existing routine to display the options (See image above).
Press Copy to duplicate an existing routine.
This will create an identical copy of the selected routine. You can then modify it as you wish.
This can be handy if two children have a similar, but slightly different routine and you want to make the changes quickly for the second child.
Delete a routine
From the Routine Manager, press on an existing routine to display the options (See image above).
Press Delete to delete an existing routine. You will be asked to confirm the deletion and the routine will then be deleted.
Caution! This action is irreversible. The option to deactivate a routine can be useful if you think you will need it again in the future.
Disable or enable a routine
From the Routine Manager, tap on an existing routine to display the options.
If the routine is active, you will have the option to deactivate it. This pauses the routine. Your child will no longer have to perform that routine until it is activated again. This allows you to save your routine for later! Perfect for vacations or shared custody!
If the routine is inactive, you will have the option to activate it. Children who are assigned this routine will be able to complete it again in their section and reap rewards for the tasks completed.
